Prime Video hasadjusted the release dateof "Fallout" Season 2 to 6 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Dec. 16. The first episode of the new season was originally scheduled to release on Dec. 17.
The new season takes viewers on a journey through the Mojave wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas, according to a Prime Video news release. The television series, which premiered in 2024, is based on the "Fallout"video gamefranchise. The franchise is set 200 years after an apocalypse, and the population is split between gentle citizens living in luxurious fallout shelters and those above ground who were affected by global radiation.
The first "Fallout" game was released in 1997, and five more have followed. Season 2 of the television series appears to be inspired by "Fallout: New Vegas," the fourth game in the franchise, released in 2010.
